Project Engineer

Chris has over 20 years of operational and design experience in the resource industry including forest engineering, heavy construction and consulting.  Chris started his career with International Forest Products Ltd, Ruskin Construction and most recently with McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd prior to co-founding Profor. His areas of expertise include resource road and bridge design; project management, construction inspections, quality management; and design-build projects for forestry and resource development projects. He has managed and been directly responsible for all aspects of those projects such as safety, environmental monitoring, certification compliance audits, financial performance, regulatory permit applications, environmental permit applications, quality control, quality assurance and operational supervision.

Senior Biologist

Jocelyn has over 20 years of experience in fish and wildlife biology throughout central and northern BC. Prior to co-founding Profor, Jocelyn worked at McElhanney Consulting Services Ltd, City of Prince George and AMEC. She has a diverse skill set that covers project management, contract preparation, field assessments (fish, wildlife and plants), plan development, regulatory permitting, environmental monitoring, site rehabilitation, public consultation and reporting. She brings a practical approach to environmental protection as it pertains to resource development.

Doug Monroe
Construction Manager

Doug Monroe is a co-founder of Profor but will also continue to operate his construction company Profor Management Inc. Doug started his company in 1999 and has grown it into a self-sufficient construction contractor. Doug will bring his 20 years of experience to Profor, including bridge construction, tender preparation, engineered cost estimation, equipment operation, project planning and management. He has managed and been directly responsible for all aspects of projects such as safety, surveying, environmental protection, permit application, scheduling, quality management, contract execution, construction supervision and financial performance.
